primtech: Intelligent substation BIM design, engineering and digital twin technology

primtech by entegra is a global provider of software and services for high-voltage substation design, engineering, and digitalization. Our mission is to enable the energy sector to master the energy transition through digital transformation. Founded in 1991 in Karlsruhe, Germany, entegra has evolved into an international specialist for digital substation solutions. In 2024 we established primtech North America LLC to serve the US and Canada more directly. Today, primtech is part of entegra AG, bringing together IT and HV engineering expertise with more than 100 professionals across Germany, North- and South America. Together, we support customers worldwide in modernizing their substations and increasing efficiency.

As a transmission system operator, TransnetBW GmbH secures the electricity supply in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and Europe. The company creates the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the electricity grid in line with demand. TransnetBW’s grid covers an area of 34,600 square kilometers. All players in the electricity market can use this grid on a non-discriminatory basis and at market-based conditions.
