Author Instructions

  • Submit a Synopsis (limited to 500 words and up to 2 pages) through the online system
  • Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the submission system.
  • Acknowledgement of the submission will be sent to the submitting author. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours, please contact:cigre2027@vde.com
  • After the synopsis is accepted, the full paper has to be uploaded by the full paper submission deadline.

Accepted Papers

  • Presenting authors must register to the conference. On-site presentations are mandatory.
  • Only the papers that are correctly associated to a registered author will be included in the final programme.
  • All synopses, papers, and presentations must be submitted in English.

Template & Paper Guidelines

The CIGRE Symposia 2027 templates for MS Word can be downloaded below.

Papers must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Using the CIGRE Symposia 2027 paper template is mandatory.
  • Submit a Synopsis (limited to 500 words and up to 2 pages) via the online submission system
  • Include a complete list of authors, with first and last names as well as their affiliations.
  • Provide the corresponding author’s email address (required). Additional email addresses may be included optionally.
  • Format the references according to the format provided in the template.

We use the CONFTOOL system to manage all submissions, including synopses, full papers, and presentations. To submit your synopsis/abstract, you must create a new Conftool user account.
Please note that login details from previous events are not valid and cannot be reused.

Once your account is set up, you can submit your paper directly through Conftool.
